Refinishing
Bathtub & Tile Refinishing
Cost, timing, durability, and care for professional tub, tile, and surface refinishing.
-
Bathtub refinishing starts around $649 for a single tub, and tub-plus-wall-surround refinishing starts around $1,599. Final pricing depends on the size and condition of the surface, and the optional non-slip treatment is priced in your estimate. Every estimate is free, with no obligation.
-
Most refinishing jobs are finished in a single visit. The new finish then needs time to cure — your tub is ready to use again in about 48 hours.
-
With proper care, a professionally refinished tub, tile wall, or shower lasts for many years. Residential refinishing is backed by our 15-year warranty. The warranty doesn’t apply to commercial properties, apartments, or other high-turnover properties.
-
If the tub is structurally sound, refinishing is usually the better value: it restores the fixture you already have for a fraction of the cost of replacement, without tearing out the surrounding tile and walls. If you want a different tub or a new layout, our remodeling team can handle a replacement — and we’ll tell you honestly at the estimate which option fits.
-
We refinish cast iron, steel, fiberglass, and acrylic tubs, plus wall surrounds and showers, bathroom and kitchen ceramic tile, sinks and vanities, and countertops.
-
Usually, yes. We fill, smooth, and color-match chips, cracks, and worn spots so the repair blends into the surrounding surface, and most repairs are done in a single visit. If the damage is spread across the whole surface, full refinishing is often the better value.
-
Standard colors are Pure White, Tub White, Biscuit, Bone, Almond, and Black, and custom color matching is available. Every refinished surface gets a durable high-gloss finish. You can see colors in person at our Clarence Center showroom.
-
Yes. Our optional non-slip treatment gives the floor of your tub or shower a fine, textured surface for surer footing when wet. It’s applied during refinishing — no separate appointment or added downtime — and it’s priced in your free estimate.
-
No. Every job starts with masking and ventilating the space, then repairing chips and cracks, deep-cleaning and etching the surface so the new finish bonds tightly, and applying multiple coats of our professional refinishing system. Done properly, it looks like a brand-new fixture and stands up to daily use for years.
-
Clean it at least once a week with a liquid, non-abrasive cleaner such as Scrubbing Bubbles, 409, or Fantastic, and wipe it dry after use. Never use bleach, abrasive cleansers like Ajax, Comet, or Soft Scrub, or a Magic Eraser (Soft Scrub is fine on a non-slip floor if needed). Skip suction-cup bath mats and stick-on strips — use a non-suction mat or a towel and pick it up after each use. Don’t use hair dye in the tub, don’t leave bottles, cans, or wet clothes sitting on the surface, keep faucets tightly closed, and lay a towel down if you bathe pets.
Cabinets
Kitchen Cabinets
Costs, timelines, and options for refinishing, refacing, or replacing your cabinets.
-
Cabinet refinishing starts around $4,500–$8,000 and cabinet refacing starts around $8,000–$12,000, depending on the size of your kitchen and the materials you choose. Full cabinet replacement is quoted as part of a kitchen remodel. Ask about our discount for customer-removed cabinet doors. Every estimate is free, with no obligation.
-
Refinishing keeps your existing doors, boxes, and frames and gives them a new finish — we reglaze or restain them. Refacing keeps your cabinet boxes but replaces the doors, drawer faces, and frame laminate, and adds hidden French hinges. Replacement means all-new cabinets and is the right choice if you want a different layout; it’s handled as part of a kitchen remodel.
-
If your cabinets are in good shape and you just want a new color or stain, refinishing is the most affordable option. If you want a bigger change in style without a full remodel, refacing gives you all-new doors and drawer faces over your existing boxes. We’ll help you choose at your free estimate.
-
Cabinet refinishing takes about 2–3 weeks: your doors go to our workshop to be reglazed or restained, then we bring them back and refinish the boxes and frames on site. Cabinet refacing takes about 5–7 days.
-
Yes. We offer a free cabinet-refinishing sample with no obligation, and our Clarence Center showroom has finishes on display — call ahead to set up a time to visit.
-
Refacing doors and drawer faces are available in solid oak, cherry, hickory, or maple, in solid colors or wood grain. Cabinet refacing is backed by a 5-year warranty.
-
Wipe them down with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap and water, then dry. Avoid abrasive cleaners, scouring pads, Magic Eraser–type sponges, and harsh chemicals like bleach, ammonia, or solvents. Wipe up spills and drips promptly, especially around the sink, dishwasher, and range.
Remodeling
Remodeling
What to expect from a complete kitchen or bathroom remodel.
-
Every remodel is different — cost depends on the size of the space, the scope of the work, and the materials you choose — so we don’t quote a one-size-fits-all price. We’ll walk your space, talk through what you want, and give you a clear, itemized estimate, free and with no obligation.
-
New or replacement cabinets; countertops in granite, quartz, or laminate; sink installation; tile backsplashes; updated lighting and flooring; and layout changes and additions. Not ready for all-new cabinets? Refinishing or refacing can update your kitchen for less.
-
Tub, shower, toilet, and vanity or sink installation; tile replacement or refinishing; updated lighting and flooring; and layout changes and additions — built for everyday durability and easy upkeep.
-
Yes. Munro Products designs and manages complete kitchen and bathroom remodels, so you have one point of contact from the first measurements to the final walkthrough.
-
If your layout works and your tub, tile, or cabinets are structurally sound, refinishing or refacing gives you a fresh look for far less than a remodel. A remodel makes sense when you want a new layout, new fixtures, or all-new cabinets. We do both, so we’ll recommend what actually fits your space.
-
Yes. Full cabinet replacement is handled as part of a kitchen remodel, so it’s planned and quoted together with your countertops, layout, and the rest of the project.
